Sidmouth ladies hosted a friendly match against their visitors from Chardstock, writes Susie Bonnell.

It was a nice change to have a complete game without a single drop of rain - the sun even came out, to make the game on two rinks very enjoyable.

It was also an balanced match, with Sidmouth winning on one rink and Chardstock winning on the other.

The winning rink, with a score of 28-15, was led by joint ladies captain, Ann Capon, with her team, Janet Smith, Janet Thompson and Susie Bonnell.
