Sidmouth skipper Moray Bosence led his team joint top of the East Devon League after a 3-2 success over Honiton at a windy Axe Cliff Golf Club, writes Chris Roberts.
Following previous victories the skipper was keen to keep up the winning streak by enlisting some of the clubs big guns and two of them, Mark Thomas and Jonathan Lee, secured the days most impressive return with a five-and-four triumph.
Other Sidmouth winners on the day where the in-form pairing of Lee Wenham and Paul Lewis who landed a three-and-two success whilst the duo’s of Lewis Perry and Dave Bater and Lewis White and George Barber, each bagged a half.
The skipper, partnering Paul Renken, was the team’s only casualty, losing three-and-two.
The overall 3-2 victory leaves Sidmouth ties at the top of the table with Padbrooke Park.
