This Wednesday, the Sidmouth Ladies played their first Medal of the year in bright and breezy conditions, writes Angela Coles.
In first place, free from the cares of office, was 2016 lady captain Angela Coles, with a net score of 68!
The runner-up with a net 69 was Anne Blackler and in third place was Marie Timms with a net 71.
The winner of Division One was Angela Coles. Division Two was won by Margaret Thompson with a net 73 and the winner of Division Three was Jane Renken with a net 75.
The putting competition was won by Marie Timms. Twos were scored by Susan Hackett and Jane Renken.
Meanwhile, on Monday, the Sheelah Creasy Team played their first match of the season at home against Bigbury and had a comfortable five-and-a-half to one-and-a-half victory. Well played, ladies!
