Both the Sidmouth mens’ teams are holding their own in their respective divisions, writes Lesley Cranston.
The A, team after a slow start are now sitting in third place having gained an 8-0 win last week and the B team are mid-table, but with the possibility of a top three finish.
They had a good win against Kingsteignton E, beating them 8-1 at home.
However, they have some challenging matches ahead especially against Cranford who are able to field a coach in spite of being in Division 8. The B’s are using a wide pool of players, some newly joined members as well as three promising juniors who, hopefully, will be free to play more in the second half of the season.
