Sidmouth Netball Club U16s, 14s and 12s had their final run out of the season recently, entering the Exeter and East Devon Summer Open Tournament.

Again there were strong opposition from Barnstaple Teignmouth Exeter West Exe Dartmouth Honiton and Exmouth.

There were some great results and some close matches.

Sidmouth Ravens U12 were the best placed team of the day finishing third in their age group.

There will be high expectations for this team in the Winter league! The U14s also played some good games over the day losing two of their games by only one goal!

The U16s probably had the toughest games of the day as all of the girls are new to this age group only being in the current year nine!

Coach Louise Hastie said: “Although the girls didn’t get it all their own way, there were plenty of areas to work on and lots of small things the girls can start to work on next season which will make big differences to the outcome of the games.”
