Sidmouth Ladies Over-50s Yellow team hosted Exonia last Wednesday, writes Susie Bonnell.
lub lady captain, Valerie Newnham and her team got things off to a sound start, but flagged towards the end before going down 19-15.
The other rink of skip Shirley Rose, Karen Hollingdale and Jenny Fricker, went on to secure a resounding 31-7 win.
That excellent score saw the team secure four of the six points on offer.
