There was good news for Sidmouth Bowls Club with the success recently for two of their own, writes Susie Bonnell.
Jean Brimson and Eileen Hewett have won the Devon Section Three Over-70s Pairs, beating their opponents from Madeira to secure their place in the Section Quarter final.
That last eight match is set for South Molton on September 1.
We will be willing them on to win again and we certainly hope it is a case of déjà vu for Jean as she and Christa Turner won the very first Section Trophy for Sidmouth in 2008. Good luck, Jean and Eileen for September 1.
