The Sidmouth ladies’ Sheelah Creasy team started the week well with an impressive win against a long-hitting RND team, writes Penny Ashby.

On Wednesday, 22 ladies played in the Warren Crocus competition.

The winners of this go on to play later in the season at Dawlish Warren.

Winners in the silver section were Julie Lye and Marie Timms with 34 stableford points.

Runners-up in this section were Penny Lyne and Sheila Thomson (30).

In the Bronze section, Sheila Skittrall and Marian Thomas came first with with 34 points, followed by Angela Coles and JIll Jeffrey on 31.
