Sidmouth Raiders 8, Avishayes Kestrels 2 Sidmouth Raiders Under-13s produced a superb display of passing football that the visitors had no answer to, writes Mark Skelding.

The die was cast for a handsome home win when, in the opening exchanges Turton ran into the box and squared the ball across the goal straight to an Avishayes defender who under pressure knocked it into his own goal.

A second own goal followed before a Hughes pass was steered home by Turton to make it three.

Pugsley ended a dominant first half for Raiders with a superbly struck shot from distance.

There was more of the same after the break. Hughes headed the fifth and Miller made it six before Gibson bagged a late brace, one of them from the penalty spot, to complete the scoring.
