Sidmouth Under-8s Raiders and Warriors travelled to Exeter for their penultimate games of the season meeting City Raiders and Whipton Youth.

The Warriors played two very close games, the first against a good Whipton Youth side in which the Warriors battled hard with Charley Turley running tirelessly and deserving his Man of the Match award. The second was a hard fought game with few goals against a well organised City Raiders team. Callum French scored his first goal of the season, leading the line well and bagging the Man of the Match award.

The Sidmouth Raiders started with a game against City Raiders, and made a positive start, playing well in the first half displaying some clinical finishing. Raiders side scored within minutes of the game starting when William Pulman struck.

The second half saw an improvement from the Exeter side and the Raiders had to dig deep with some great defensive work from the team with Scott Munro-Higgs receiving Man of the Match. In their second game against Whipton Youth, after going behind within 20 seconds, the whole team rallied well and produced some good football with William Pulman landing the Man of the Match award for his all round good play and a sweet strike for another one of their goals.
