Last Friday, Sidmouth Rugby Club showed the type of experience the club will be putting on for the community during the Rugby World Cup in the autumn.
More than 80 members and non-members, ladies and gentlemen, teenagers and OAPs, players and coaches gathered in the clubhouse to watch the opening match of the Six Nations Championship.
Most in attendance enjoyed a pre-match curry before cheering England to victory over Wales.
Earlier in the evening, the club hosted a tag rugby festival involving four local primary schools.
A similar event is being planned for the Ireland versus England televised match on Sunday, March 1.
