Sidmouth Rugby Club have handed over an exceptional amount of money following their charity sevens held earlier this month.
Club secretary Terry O’Brien handed over a cheque for £470 in favour of Children’s Hospice South West. The cheque was presented to Mike Fanzo of Carling Technologies Ltd. The money was raised at the Sidmouth Rugby Club Charity Sevens held on Sunday, May 1.
Staff from Carling Technologies are taking part in a sponsored bike ride to Paris, setting off on May 27, to raise funds for the Children’s Hospice South West.
Twenty-eight riders are taking part, including four from Mexico.
