Sidmouth Rugby Club will be holding their annual charity seven-a-side tournament on Sunday, May 3 starting at noon. The entry fee is �30 per team and entries should be made by Sunday, April 29, to Terry O'Brien at the club or telephone (01395) 577403. This years charity is the Devon Air Ambulance.OVER-35s available to play rugby on Good Friday are asked to contact Stephen Channing on (01395) 516343 or Terry O'Brien (01395) 577403. The match, against the 3rd XV, will be played at The Blackmore, kicking off at 2.30pm (meet 1.30pm) on April 10. On Saturday, the Chiefs travel to Bristol to take on St Mary's Old Boys. 'Quins are playing Cullompton 2nds at Sidford kicking off at 3pm. At the Blackmore, the Colts entertain Barnstaple Colts in a vital Merit Table game kicking off at 3pm.The 3rd Team travel to Bideford.Congratulations to Sidmouth number 8 Nathan Hannay who represented Devon in their 13-11 win over Cornwall in the annual Tamar Cup match on Sunday.
