Sylvia and Ron Cook’s County title challenge came to an end when they reached the semi-finals of the Devon County Intersection Mixed Pairs, at Bitton Park, writes Susie Bonnell.
Despite leading all the way up to the 14th end, the Cook’s opponents trailed the jack on both the next two ends, clinching the match in their favour with a final score of 22-17.
So it’s commiserations to Sylvia and Ron, but well done for getting on so far in the competition.
We know they’ll be back trying to win next year
