Sidmouth’s Dan Powell continues to catch the eye with his performances, writes Terry O’Brien.
The teenagers has already got a few senior XV game sunder his belt this term whilst he has also played at fly-half in the Devon Under-18s in all of their county championship games against Cornwall, Berks and Bucks and Dorset and Wilts, all of which Devon won.
Powell has now been selected by the South West regional selectors to play against Gloucester Academy on Sunday, November 30.
This is a major step on the way to selecting an England squad.
