Sidmouth Tennis Club coach, Sue Wiltshire once again played for GB at the ITF Seniors World Team Tennis Championships held in Antalya, Turkey.
This time, she and her team mates, competing for the Young Cup (Ladies 40), finished in the medals having beaten Ireland, Argentina and Canada, but narrowly losing to France who were runners up to champions, Spain.
GB had a very successful tournament overall coming away with two gold’s and a silver in the over-55s and 55s respectively with the ‘Young’ competitors completing the haul with a bronze.
These are the best results for GB since the start of the International Seniors’ competition 55 years ago!
