Sidmouth Under-10s fielded three teams for matches against Exeter Chiefs.
The Sidmouth Saracens consisted of Toby Morris, Arlo Squires, Billy Fowler, Ben Brook, Oscar, Joe Trickey, Charlie Rowland, Sam Hartland and William Allen. Sidmouth defensively started slow, but soon got into a rhythm.
With a lot of line breaking runs finally Ben brook broke through to score the first try and managed to settle the team followed by William Allen scoring to end the first half. In the second half, Exeter started strongly and levelled things up.
Sidmouth then started to use the strength of Arlo Squires to make up ground. Moving the ball as a team Sidmouth realised that using the full width of the pitch would enable Billy Fowler to get over the line and, with this momentum, certainly gave the chiefs a hard time with Arlo Squires breaking through with an impressive 40 metre run to score the third try.
Saving the best for last, an amazing team effort began with an Arlo Squires offload to Ben Brooks to set up William Allen who burst his way to and over the line to wrap up a 5-2 success.
