On Saturday, it was the second round of the Streatham Trophy, now a better ball competition, writes John Barnard.
Taking first place were Neil Faulkner with an excellent 46 points considering how the wet and windy weather came in during their round.
Second placed Trevor Kerridge and Allan Malcolm were out early when the weather was at its kindest and they must have thought their 45 points had a great chance of winning.
Paddy Tallon and Colin Macklin were third with 44 points.
There were eleven two’s winning ten pence shy of five pounds each.
