Twenty-two ladies played a par competition this week for the County Prize series, writes Penny Ashby.
For the second week running conditions were a challenge and good scores elusive! Lady captain Liz Chance had a good round, however, finishing in winning position on minus one.
Sue Billinghurst came second with her score of minus three followed by Linda Reynolds on minus four.
Last Monday the ladies’ Sheelah Creasy team had another good win at home against a strong team from Staddon Heights.
The ladies’ section also notched up another good result on Wednesday when Marie Timms and Penny Lyne won their second round match in the Devon County Veterans knockout competition at Honiton.
