This Wednesday the lady golfers played their first medal of the season, writes Penny Ashby.

Luckily the weather forecast was completely wrong and the sun shone on us!

The overall winner was Angie Coles, who also won Division One with a core of nett 73.

Lady captain Liz Chance won Division Two with nett 76 and Susan Hackett came in with the same nett score to win Division Three.

Anne Blackler was in overall second place for the medal.

Last week the Sidmouth mixed team started their season with an impressive 6-1 win against the visiting Teignmouth team.

The next match will also be played at home, on May 11, against High Bullen.
