The latest Sunday morning competition, a three-man Texas Scramble, was won by debutant Jeremy Holden alongside Nick Bater and Jim Anderton with a nett 52.5, writes Chris Roberts.
Jonathan Lee, Lee Wenham and Craig Melluish finished second with a nett score of 54.5, whilst a score of 56.9 was good enough for Paul Hitchcock, Graham Rogers, and Lawrence Hill to take third place.
This week sees the club honour former member George Meadows, who collapsed and died on the course in the early eighties, with its traditional Christmas three-man team event.
