The Sidmouth ladies’ invited the gentlemen to play with them in a 4-ball competition, writes Penny Ashby.
In near perfect conditions, and with the course looking splendid, there was some good scoring.
In first place with 43 points were Linda Reynolds and David Hoare.
Second, on countback, were Penny Ashby and Nigel Sharp with 42 points.
Maria Clapp and Bob Welsman took third place after being edged out on countback after they too carded 42 points.
