Sidmouth Tennis Club has been given a huge boost thanks to the efforts of Sheelagh Michlemore.

The club received £780 from a local Charitable Trust, which was organised by Sheelagh who has had a long relationship with the club, having played when young and when her children were growing up.

This money was for team t-shirts for the juniors and for junior tennis nets as well as an umpire’s chair.

Kate Truman, press officer for the club said: “We’re immensely grateful for this donation to the club and our junior teams looked very smart for their matches last weekend. We are very grateful to Sheelagh for all her efforts, they really are much appreciated.”
