Sidmouth men have been quietly and steadily making their mark in the men’s County Trophy League, writes Susie Bonnell.

Playing their fifth and penultimate match in this strongly contested league, the Sidmouth men had an exciting game versus Honiton, with the aggregate score across four rinks standing at 84 shots each.

However, Sidmouth men had won on three of the four rinks, giving them 10 points, compared to six for Honiton.

The winning Sidmouth rink was led by skip, Chris Nappin, with his team, Chas Coates, Roger Stewart and Ken Robertson.

The Sidmouth men now lie third in the league - a great improvement on the past few seasons - and will be pulling out all the stops for the last game of the season.
