Sidmouth Toucan Chicks still sport unbeaten record in Honiton Netball League

- Credit: Archant

With no games possible at Honiton due to the heat and its effect on the courts only six games were played, writes Graham Ingram.

This is the first time that courts have been unplayable due to extreme heat!

And then there just two unbeaten teams as unbeaten Panthers came up against unbeaten Hi Q, something had to give and it was the Panthers unbeaten run as they were defeated 38-27 by Hi Q who held onto their top spot on goal difference. Second placed Toucan Chicks reduced the goal difference gap with a thoroughly convincing win over Signs South West by 62-18.

The other game on the night saw Pixies move from seventh in the table up to fourth thanks to a good victory over Swaggermamas by 56-19.

Although there were three games played in the right division at the time of writing the reporter had only received the scores from two of the games so the table does not include the result of the Hawks versus Hot Shots game.

In the games played Flamingos made it five wins from five games when they defeated Cranbrook Arrows by 58 -22.
