Sidmouth Toucans 23, OPG 37 For the second week running Sidmouth Toucans were celebrating at the final whistle with another precious point in the bank, writes Alexa Baker.

The weather was kind to the players for the rains relented to enable the 8pm start to take place in the dry!

Talented goal defence Louise Neilson was back in the Toucans team after a spell out with injury and she was joined in the team by the experienced Louise Hastie who began as wing defence and interchanged with the defensive and substitute slots. Sarah Burston shared the defensive duties and did very well providing excellent cover for goalkeeper Sarah Fletcher.

Once again a key focal point to the Toucans make up was influential skipper Sarah Sparks who formed another effective partnership with centre Rachel Darlami and this pair were at the centre of much of the positive Toucans play that saw them score 23 goals!

Emma Davey was named the Toucans player of the night and both teams also banked ten fair play points.
