Sidmouth Toucans climbed to new heights with a 31-17 success in their latest Honiton Netball league outing against A and P, writes Alexa Baker.
It was a tremendous efforts by the Toucans who were missing players and were forced to field others out of their normal positions.
What’s more with no substitutes it meant no fresh legs so everybody on duty had to put in a full shift – and they did!
Helen Terry, outstanding throughout at goal attack, was named the Player of the Match. Terry is also commended for persevering with Alexa Baker at GHS for the duration!
Louise Hastie excelled at WD and Danni Walters slotted in superbly at WA.
Hat’s off too to the great defensive work done in the circle by the duo of Sarah Fletcher (GK) and Louise Neilson (GD).
