Sidmouth Town play their first home game of the new South West Peninsula League Eastern Division campaign tonight (Wednesday) when they entertain Torridgeside at Manstone Lane.

Town, who lost their first game of the season, beaten 1-0 at Axminster Town last Friday night, are of course now managed by Richard Pears.

Tonight’s game kicks off at 7.30pm and we shall have a full match report and post match comment in this weeks Sidmouth Herald which is out next on Friday (August 17).

Torridgeside, like Town, have played one game so far and there’s was a 4-2 home win over University of Exeter.

There are two other matches on this evening in the Eastern Division with Honiton Town visiting Elmore and there’s a North Devon derby with Appledore hosting Ilfracombe.
