Sidmouth Town travel to Newton Spurs tomorrow (April 18) knowing that a win at the third-from-bottom hosts and, if other results go their way then the Vikings will set in a lofty eighth place in the South West Peninsula League, Eastern Division table.
A Vikings win would also mean another ‘double’ as it was Town who triumphed 4-2 when the side’s met at Manstone Lane in late August.
After the trip to Newton Abbot Town have two more to play to complete their league season.
They visit Teignmouth Town on May 2 and then go to Tavistock on Monday, May 4, to bring the curtain down on what may yet prove to be their most successful SWP League campaign to date.
