In a week in which the club agreed an exciting sponsorship deal with Fords South West Ltd (part of the CLEARVAC International Group) based in Sidmouth, players and supporters will turn out in force to make the journey up the M5 to Keynsham’s AJN Stadium at Crown Fields Keynsham this coming Saturday (September 1) to take on the home side in an FA Vase Preliminary round tie.

The match presents an exciting contest and an opportunity for manager Richard Pears to test his first team against strong opposition.

Club chairman Andy Argyle says: “These are exciting times for Sidmouth Town AFC, securing a sponsorship arrangement with Fords, a well -respected and dynamic south-west regional company located here in Sidmouth is a fabulous opportunity to push forward with our ambitions for the club whilst linking a major local employer with the football community of Sidmouth - in addition being involved in such a prestigious competition as the FA VASE (a trophy first played for in 1974 following changes to the FA rules on amateur status) is the icing on the cake in raising the profile of the club both within Sidmouth and beyond.”

A coach will be leaving the Manstone Lane ground in time for the 3pm kick-off and spaces are still available. Call into the clubhouse to secure your seat and take part in a great day of celebration for Sidmouth Town AFC.
