Sidmouth Town banked a richly deserved share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Axminster Town on Good Friday morning.

What makes the result all the more impressive was that the Vikings had trailed 2-0 before storming back to level late on.

Elsewhere on Good Friday there was a surprise at Greenway Lane, Budleigh Salterton where the home side not only bagged local bragging rights with their 2-1 derby success over table topping neighbours Exmouth Town, but they also became the first team to defeat the Southern Road side in the League this season!

Second bottom Crediton United lost 3-0 at home to Okehampton and fourth bottom Plymstock United were beaten 2-1 at home by Totnes and Dartington. Exeter Civil Service and Alphington shared two goals whilst Stoke Gabriel kept their title bid alive with a 2-1 success at Galmpton and Teignmouth Town won the South Devon derby at Newton Abbot Spurs by the odd goal in five.
