Sidmouth Town Under-15s set up open training session to recruit new players

Sidmouth Town Under-15s are in search of some additional players for the coming season.

The team won Division Three last year as an Under-14 team and so this coming season will begin the new campaign as an Under-15 Division Two side.

The team are ambitious, would like to improve further and indeed, achieve more.

In a bid to recruit some new players to the age group the team management have decided to stage an open training session which will be held at the Sidford football pitches.

The session will take place on Saturday, August 13 and run for an hour between 10am and 11am.

Team manager Wade Monaghan says: “We have smashing core group of lads and the coaches, Tony West and Trevor Lorkin, really are exceptionally good with the lads. If anyone out there would like to come along and see what we are all about then hopefully we’ll recruit some additional quality to blend in with what we have already.”
