Sidmouth Town Under-8s Warriors and Raiders were part of the Exeter City AFC 2013 Santa Dash last Saturday.
The charity run took place before the Grecians 2-2 draw with Bury.
The event began outside the Guildhall in Exeter from where hundreds of Santa’s, including the large group of Sidmouth Santa’s made their way up the High Street to St James where they then got to meet the City mascot and then watch an entertaining League two game.
Coach Chris Elsom said: “The turnout was fantastic. In total we had 17 children and 11 parents, all who enthusiastically took to the streets of Exeter, raising money for charity and picking up some footballing tips from the Grecians. Our team even got a mention on the PA at half-time much to the delight of the parents if not the boys.”
