Sidmouth Town Under-16 captain, and now regular member of the Vikings’ senior side, Jamie Newberry was part of the successful Devon Under-16 team that beat Gwent 3-0 last Sunday at the home of Newport County.

Newberry is once again included in the county team’s fourth outing this season when they travel to Almondbsury, Bristol to meet Gloucestershire on Sunday, December 21 (2pm).

Two other Town youngsters, Freddie King and Jack Dewinton are included in the stand-by squad providing back-up to the main group of 16.
