The last competition of the Sidmouth winter season is played in memory of John Griffiths, who was both a past captain and past chairman of the club, writes Chris Roberts.
The format of the competition is one of teams of three with one score to count.
After some excellent play all round the winners were Martyn Crockett, Kevin Howe, and Graham Rogers with a remarkable score of 51.
This was no less than 15 shots under par!
Lawrence Hill, Trevor Kerridge, and Simon Emerson finished a distant second on 56, beating John Eaton, Chris Roberts, and Lee Wenham on a countback. Lee Wenham tied up the Winter League with Derek Platten in second place.
