Sidmouth U16 60, Cullompton 0

Jack Faulkner and GeorgeToomey recently played for Devon U17s in an impressive victory over Cornwall and were full of confidence and energy in this comfortable league win.

Their recent experience, alongside that of Wells-Burr, Down and Goddard, who are regularly playing for the Colts, gave Sidmouth the edge once they had control of the game.

The home side were impressive with their positive attitude and their outstanding stand-off was one of the players of the day. Pick of the Sidmouth tries came from the excellent Headon who, after slick build-up play, dummied his way through a tight gap and sprinted in from long range. Good handling throughout the team brought further scores for Faulkner, Cotton, Toomey, Wells-Burr, Gilby and Down.

This week the 16s play their final league game against Exeter Chiefs, followed, on Saturday morning , March 17, by a home game against Bournemouth, the unbeaten Champions of Dorset.
