Sidmouth took three Under-10 teams to Withycombe for their latest action.
The Allens’ Allstars, captained by Will Allen, played first, and started well with quick hands from William Morris and Oscar Bruce leaving just three players for Archie Rowcliffe to mow down before crashing over the line - a result that cost Sidmouth a very good player as Archie had to sit out the rest of the game!
The first half ended 1-1 as Withycombe crossed the line despite great cover tackling by Harry Wood. The Sidmouth team was then under the hammer for the second half as fresh legs from replacements for Withycombe took their toll producing three quick tries. In the last couple of minutes of the game though Matthew Thomas ripped the ball from Withycombe to set up runs from Dillon Burrow and Sid Ridgway which allowed Charlie Simic to force his way through the centre for a last try .
