Sidmouth Under-13 girls team were good value for their lady Taverners success over Paignton at Fortfield.
The home side won the toss and opted to bat, reaching 94-4 with Cassia Anstley-Jones the principle scorer with 24.
The other contributions were Catlin Perry (9), Hannah Vicary (4) and Hannah Rudgard (2) before Kathrine Donavan (8no) and Emma Seward (6no) saw Sidmouth to the close.
Paignton had no answer to the accuracy of the home attack and, at stumps, the reply was 23-7.
Lilly Goodier returned the splendid figures of three wickets for four runs from five overs whilst Catlin Perry bagged a brace of wickets for two runs and Emma Steward sent down five overs to finish with figures of 1-4. The other wicket taker was Hannah Rudgard. Lucy Gosling was the pick of the fielders in what was another impressive out fielding display by the girls who can now look forward to another fixture in the competition.
