Sidmouth Under-13s kicked off their new season with a bright and impressive performance against visiting Totnes, writes Chris Wodruff.
The hosts dominated the first half with some exceptional handling and team play to go into the break with a 29-0 lead.
The second half saw some injuries hit the hosts and Totnes took advantage of what was a slight loss of structure, securing two tries and re-balancing the match and making better use of possession.
In general, despite the slippery conditions there was excellent handling and tidy possession in all quarters with strong supporting play and recycling from Sidmouth.
The coaches will be pleased with the performance; an excellent start with a team performance that should bode well for the season.
