The Upper Crust Monday Stableford was won this week by Jeremy Holden with 40 points, beating Andy Mills on countback, writes John Barnard.

Jeremy had a decent front nine, but three birdies in the last six holes, on the 13th, 15th and 17th, were enough to give him his second win this season and another handicap reduction.

Andy was going well on the front nine and then a birdie on the 10th, meant all looked good until a double bogie on the 17th cost him a victory.

Mark Thomas continued his good form. A decent round started to look better with birdies on 17 and 18, but he had run out of holes and had to settle for third place.

Kevin Legg has a two shot lead in the Upper Crust Monday Eclectic League with 46.2, a whole two shots ahead of Jeremy Holden in second and Steve Crabb in third.
