Sidmouth Warriors and Raiders Under-9s were in action at Dawlish for their first away games of a new Exeter and District League season.

First up, against a lively Dawlish Cheetahs side there was some excellent defensive work by Man of the Match Charlie Turley. Both teams deservedly took something from the game with honours ending even.

Next up against Dawlish Leopards Jamie Pitter scored a hat-trick and there were some other notable shifts, in particular from Finlay Snape, Callum French and Matthew Dunford. Dev Nair won the Man of the Match award for his industrious contribution that also saw him score a find goal ‘ghosting’ in at the far post.

Raiders went down to Leopards in their first game, this despite some exceptional goalkeeping from Man of the Match Oscar Parkinson.

In their meeting with Cheetahs they performed well collectively and Dean Lynch starred ion goal, saving a penalty.
