Sidmouth Raiders and Warriors Under-10s travelled to Axminster to play Millwey Rise teams.

First up, against the Millwey Rise Falcons development team, Warriors were in terrific form. Toby Edmonds served up a Man of the Match performance, scoring three times and another to bag a hat-trick was Ben Elsom; both players completing their trebles in o one-sided first half. After the break a third Warriors player, Jamie Pitter, netted himself ahat-trick and the final goal was a tremendous individual effort by Callum French who ran from his own half before drilling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Next up Warriors took on Millwey Rise Eagles in what proved to be a much more even encounter. The two sides picked up where they had left off from in the Cup final earlier in the year.

In the early exchanges the Warriors defence, superbly marshalled by Callum French, kept their shape well and, from that solid platform attacks were launched with Man of the Match Elsom opening the scoring.

Excellent performances from Charley Turley and Tom Cload on the wings provided the strikers with plenty of opportunities and the Warriors were 3-0 up at half-time. The second half was tight early on with Millwey playing some good football, but again after an excellent team passing move Dev Nair was able to volley in past the keeper, the game finished after Jamie Pitter got his second.

Raiders began their action with a match against the Eagles. Raiders were slow to get into gear and, despite some terrific saves from stand-in keeper Toby Gosse, fell 3-0 down by half-time.

After the break Raiders upped their game with Man of the Match George Tanner working hard up front creating space allowing Michal Bielawski to pull the Raiders back into the match with a brace of goals, one a fine strike from fully 25-yards, but it was Millwey who finished the match stronger scoring again and finishing the game on top.

Millwey Rise Falcons were much different opposition for the Raiders second match which became one-way traffic from the start with William Pulman scoring five goals for the Raiders in the opening ten minutes.

With the Raiders confidence high there were more goals from David Clapp and Toby Gosse and a hat-trick from Michal Bielawski. Liam Dalton put in a Man of the Match performance sticking to his defensive duties keeping any opposition attacks at bay. Credit must go to the Axminster side who never gave up in such a one-sided match.
