Sidmouth Warriors Under-10s celebrated their completed season with the handing out of their individual playing awards.

It was Benedict Teague who bagged himself a brace of trophies. The youngster was named the team’s Exeter and District Youth League Player of the Year award winner and he also lifted the Warriors’ Managers’ Player of the Year trophy.

The Most Improved award went to Thomas Rowan whilst the Best Attitude honour was picked up by George Wheeler. The top goal scorer honour went to Joe Ashby. Last, but not least, perhaps the most coveted award of them all, the one that deems the player as the Players’ player of the Year, that went to Stanley Richardson.

Last weekend the Sidmouth Under-10s were on duty at the Exeter City 6-a-side tournament. The Warriors team went all the way to the semi-final where they were edged out by Exmouth-based Brixington Blues who went onto secure the age group tile for the second year running.
