Sidmouth Warriors Under-11s were 4-0 winners when they entertained CS Cougars.

Warriors began brightly with some slick passing moves through the midfield in which Dylan Patmore and Oliver Beech controlled the tempo of the game. Ben Fisher started in a central attacking role and looked dangerous from the first whistle.

His link up-play caused the visiting defence all kind of problems and Will Bolton’s tireless running on the right combined with some excellent crosses created numerous chances.

Sidmouth finally broke the deadlock when the ball broke to Ben Fisher on the edge of the area and he calmly slotted it home into the bottom right corner with a left foot shot.

The second half was much like the first with Sidmouth dominating possession coupled with an excellent defensive display by Lucy Spiller, Gabe Roberts, Ryan Cousins and Freddie Roberts.

Ewan Badcock had a very assured game in goal with superb handling skills. Further goals by Ben Fisher, Oliver Beech and Dylan Patmore, wrapped up a deserved victory for Warriors.
