Colyton 1, Sidmouth Warriors 6 Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s were empathic winners when they travelled to Colyton, writes Chris Roberts
Warriors made a good start and created a number of goal scoring opportunities which the Colyton keeper was equal too.
The only goal of the first half was scored by Freddie Eul-Barker.
In the second half Warriors increased the tempo, but an early chance to double the lead was thwarted when the Colyton glovesman saved a penalty! The hosts came back strongly and Warriors keeper Freddie Roberts had to be at his best to deny them an equaliser.
Eventually the pressure told and further goals were scored by Adam Jabri (2), Ben Fisher, Gabriel Roberts and Oliver Loosemoore to give Warriors a deserved victory.
