What a difference a day makes – especially to us bolwing folk, writes Susie Bonnell.
Just a day after a soggy Saturday, Sunday saw Sidmmouth bowlers travel in lovely sunshine to play against Marldon Mapleleaf Bowls Club.
With so many games over recent weeks played in cold, wet weather, it was delightful to play in lovely sunshine in beautiful surroundings.
Even better was the end result, with a win for Sidmouth 81 shots to 72.
Top rink honours were snared by Sidmouth men’s captain Mike Borst, with Gordon Brown, Steve Boyle, and Anita Mason.
