Tipton St John rider Susie Ford won the Kelly Marks National League Trec competition at Bicton College at the weekend on Kookie and came third on Jack.
In the South West Open, Kookie was third and Jack fifth
BHS TREC develops the skills a horse and rider needs while out hacking, with three phases testing your ability in orienteering, negotiating obstacles and basic flatwork. The winter league takes those skills and moves them indoors where riders and horses take on a series of three different disciplines.
In the National League it is the best of three scores so with just two scores Kookie is ranked ninth in the UK and Jack 12th
This weekend Ford is competing at Bryanston near Blandford and hopes for more high scores.
