Thirty ladies played in the Medal 9 and LGU Pendant competition last Wednesday when CSS for the day was 70.It was quite blustery but dry with playing conditions good and the course looking a picture with the start of the autumnal colours.Julie Lye had the only two of the day on the 15th - a superb drive leaving her about a five foot putt that went straight into the centre of the cup and Julie again recorded the lowest gross score.Anne Blacker was the overall winner of the LGU Pendant with a nett 70, reducing her handicap from 29 to 27 - well done, Anne.Division winners were Jane Painter, (Division 1), Sheila Tallon, (Division 2) and Anne Blackler (Division 3), all on nett 70, but these final positions had to be decided on countback.
