Sidmouth Warriors Under-8s had mixed results in their latest action.

First up they played a local derby with West Hill that they won 1-0 thanks to a Lucas Vickery goal. There was a terrific display in this match from goalkeeper Jamie White who made some stunning saves and was deservedly named the Warriors Man of the match.

In their second game the team met Culm Sampford Cobras.

In a bright start Warriots raced into a two goal lead with young Vickery scoring them both.

However, the opposition look to be a useful side and their ability combined with some ‘switching off’ in the Warriors back line led to the Mid Dveon side scoring four times to seal a 4-2 success, the first defeat of the new term for Warriors.
