Sidmouth and Ottery Hockey Club (SOHC) sent a mix of Under-10 and Under-12 boys to play in an Under-12 tournament at Okehampton.
During a number of matches, the SOHC youngsters served up some excellent passages of play, linking several passes in powerful surges towards goal.
There was bags of promise on display and the experience will have done all the players so much good. Special mention must be made of the efforts of Ben Courtinhas, who volunteered for the task of keeping goal.
